I am reminded of various platform games from the SNES days such as Tomba, Megaman, Castlevania and all of the best platformers added into 1 modern game. This is actually a better remake of a platformer than Mighty Number 9 which was supposed to be a remake of Megaman.This game is very impressive and I've spent over 3 hours playing this game last night without getting bored. That is an accomplishment since I don't often spend more than 2 hrs on video games on average.Looking forward to playing it again tonight, it's quite challenging and fun to see upgrade as you progress in this game.The value is also great, you will not be dissapointed!. Your greatest enemies are fall damage and a difficult terrian that makes falls more likely. The random room generation makes some enviroments difficult to climb and if you happen to fall even a short distance you take damage. The lack of healing, the vast number of enemies with ranged attacks, and the damage the character takes from failing a jump make the game far more difficult than it should be to be enjoyable. If you like Dark Souls level difficulty, try this game on for size.. It was hard for me to consider whether to recommend the game or not. I decided to recommend, but if you are interested in the game, read until the end before deciding to buy.This is a metroidvania-like game with a different concept from what I've seen so far. While the idea and the game itself seems well done, it's filled with bugs and poor design choices. Frankly, I only recommend it for metroidvania platformer fans, and only if you do not care about achievements or finishing all side quests.
